Paint Me A Picture

Alright, so a little misunderstanding lead me to believe the tiler was planning to finish the entire house by Saturday just gone. The weekend came and went, and not a tile in sight on the ground floor. The sanding guy came on Sunday and completed his work and the painters arrived on Wednesday. As the week went on, we still wondered where our tiler was and thought he'd gone MIA.

After seeing the mess on the ground floor created by the painters today, the penny dropped! Well at least we are assuming anyway, this part of the tiling won't be done until AFTER the painting.

So, the wet area tiling is complete and the painters have been on the job for two days. All ceilings are done as well as undercoating most walls.

Colours:

Ceilings - Tradex Ceiling White
Walls - Bristol 'White Smoke'
Feature Walls - Taubmans 'Murkey Water' (leisure room and entire media room)

To save on our ever growing list of upgrades, we kept the feature walls to a minimum. We can always do some painting down the track if we want to add more colour.

And....to the pics:

  3. Nice indeed. Liking that the bathrooms are neutral, means that you can accent different colours in as your taste changes over the years. really love your feature mosaics. Nice! your main bathroom is quite spacious.
Are you getting wisdom to do the downstairs tiling too?
