Friday was sunny and today is perfect for building but no action on our site :(
Our SS explained late last week that there's a problem with the flashing on the roof above our garage. This needs to be fixed before the cladding can go up. I fully expected workers to be onsite rectifying this today, or at least the sparky back to complete his rough-in. There is nothing worse than having a gorgeous sunny day and no work happening. Who knows how long this sun will last for?
Trying to get hold of our SS to find out what's going on....
we are going through the same thing! All paperwork has been signed..ACC has been given to our CSC and yet they don't know when building will commence for us! They said it can be up to 20 working day! I think we are entitled to a start date at least!
ReplyDeleteHi Tonia,
ReplyDeleteI think 20 working days is the norm from when they order the materials. A frustrating wait I know! You'll be up and running before you know it :) Slab and frame stage are the most exciting, you'll watch your house go up before your very eyes!
I hope so Rachael! :) Hope things progress for you today!
ReplyDeleteRachael, i agree perfect day and site is empty at our end too :) hate that they waste perfect days !!
ReplyDeleteTonia yes they will take the 20 days to order the stuff however you should see stuff go up quick .. our frame was put up in a mere 5 working days (when it was not raining) by two blokes .. good luck with the work all exiting for you now
