Tiles, tiles, tiles

For the pool, we've ordered the Ezzari glass mosaic in sapphire blue.

We'd previously chosen a large ceramic tile but it just didn't have the 'sparkle' that the glass mosaics have. We've done plenty of research and looked at enough pool tiles to sink a ship...I'm sure we've made the right choice :)
Next decision was what to use for the pool surrounds and alfresco. The pool will be saltwater and as much as we love sandstone, it was suggested to steer well clear. All natural stones need to be sealed properly and well maintained. They can be easily stained so probably not the ideal choice for what we need. Travertine was another option but as it's also a natural stone, we'd have the same problem.

Today we visited Southside Tiles and looked at the RAK Ceramic tiles again. I think this is what we'll go for. They're cost effective and low maintenance......music to our ears :)
