7.00am yesterday we met the pool builder on site and the dig got underway, they didn't muck around and by 11am today this was the hole. Ronan was quite clearly impressed and couldn't wait to get in. Daddy did, despite the clay and water.
Kerb and guttering damage aside......it really is a fantastic feeling to finally see something actually happening after months of planning and saving.
We have put some extra piering in the swimout as the clay is a bit different to the material at the bottom of the pool. It's hard to imagine the finished product from this stage but amazing that without any rain the groundwater is already filling the pool.
Wow guys! Its all happening! It looks HUGE! Can't wait to come on over for a swim :) xx
